Born able to see energy, it wasn’t until her mid 30’s that Prune realised that not everyone had the same ability. (Or rather, her belief is that EVERYONE is born able to perceive energy, but because we don’t have a way to chat about it or share information about it, young people gradually lose their ability to interpret their energy perception. The great news is that, with understanding and practice, this natural ability can be rekindled.)
As a medical intuitive, empath and natural shaman, Prune had many health challenges as she grew, including CFS that put her in bed for 2 years of her teenage life, epilepsy, and extreme challenges with her heart. This all caused her to ask if there was another way to live in balance, health and harmony. She began training in healing modalities that helped her have more language within the energetic paradigm; Reiki, Touch for Health, Eden Energy Medicine, Energy Psychology and Shamanism. She also worked for 7 years in the Institute for Integrative Science at Cape Breton University, working with Mi’kmaw Elders to help bring forward the concept of Two Eyed Seeing.
She deeply honours her teachers, Nancy Finch, Nancy Sherwood, Donna Eden, David Feinstein, Caitlin Matthews, Albert and Murdena Marshall, Cheryl Bartlett and Imelda Almqvist.
Prune lives in Cornwall, UK, and is the founder of Imaginal Health; an Institute created to bring awareness and consciousness to the health and harmony of Mother Earth and all her inhabitants. She is a certified Advanced Eden Energy Medicine Practitioner and delighted to be one of Donna Eden’s core faculty in Europe and America.
A passionate educator whose primary objective is self-empowerment through knowledge and understanding of energy, she has authored dozens of articles, writes regular blogs and founded the Consciousness Energetics program, including A Commitment to the Soul. Currently she is also the Consciousness Columnist for the independent wellness magazine, Walnut www.walnutmagazine.co.uk
As we walk within this current ecological and social crisis Prune increasingly feels the awakening of ancient energies, returned anew to help reshape our relationships with ourselves, with each other and with all of life on earth.
She divides her time between her teaching and writing engagements, and nourishing her spirit with all kinds of passions and interests including her beautiful family, horses, bees, spinning (the wool kind, not the sweating kind!), listening to the universe and being in nature.
